Role: Remote Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer focused on quantitative finance content
Key responsibilities:
- Edit videos to create clear visual narratives from technical narration and screen recordings
- Create clean motion graphics and animated charts, diagrams, and visual explainers
- Create and format captions and clips for YouTube and Instagram
- Use AI tools to speed up editing, captions, visual research and workflow
- Help improve the channel's visual language over time
- Communicate reliably and work independently within a small remote startup team
What we’re looking for
Must have:
- Strong English comprehension; able to edit around technical narration
- Ability to create clean motion graphics and animate charts, diagrams and visual explainers
- Comfort and experience using AI tools in video production (editing, captions, visual research, workflow)
- Reliable communication and ability to work independently in a remote team
- Interest in or willingness to learn quantitative finance concepts and related math
Nice to have:
- Experience formatting clips and captions for YouTube and Instagram
- Experience with screen-recording-based editing and technical content
