Leavalley Sports is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marchandiser specializing in export, with a focus on clubs and hosiery products. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience and possesses strong communication and client handling skills, especially with international buyers. This role requires a thorough understanding of the merchandising process from order booking to shipment, including production knowledge in hosiery and related accessories. The candidate must be highly skilled in MS Excel and documentation, enabling accurate tracking and reporting. Managing time effectively and meeting tight deadlines is critical in this fast-paced export environment. The position demands coordination across multiple teams such as production, sampling, and quality control to ensure timely and quality delivery of products. A deep knowledge of fabrics, trims, and accessories used in sportswear and hosiery is essential to understand client requirements and maintain product standards. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the individual must possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle complex orders and maintain strong relationships with international clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all merchandising activities from order booking through to shipment to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Communicate effectively with international buyers to understand their requirements and provide regular updates on order status.
- Maintain detailed documentation of orders, production schedules, and shipment information using MS Excel and other tools.
- Collaborate with production teams to monitor progress in cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing operations to meet quality and delivery standards.
- Work closely with sampling and quality control teams to ensure samples and finished products comply with client specifications and quality standards.
- Manage fabrics, trims, and accessories inventory related to hosiery and sportswear to prevent delays in production.
- Ensure compliance with inspection procedures and quality standards, conducting follow-ups to address any discrepancies.
- Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally, fostering strong and sustainable buyer relationships.
- Monitor multiple orders simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Update and maintain accurate records of shipments, production timelines, and client communications.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the merchandising process to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
