Description:
We are looking for a WordPress Technical Expert responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and managing WordPress websites from a technical perspective. This role is focused purely on performance, security, deployment, and technical issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize WordPress website speed and performance (Core Web Vitals, caching, database optimization, etc.)
- Handle security issues, malware protection, and ongoing security monitoring
- Manage plugin-level technical issues (conflicts, errors, updates, compatibility)
- Deploy and manage WordPress websites on live servers and staging environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical errors and bugs
- Perform regular website maintenance and updates
- Create detailed technical reports of issues, fixes, and improvements
- Share reports and findings with developers for further implementation
- Monitor website health and ensure smooth performance after updates or changes
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with WordPress backend and hosting environments ( 1- 2 years experience)
- Expertise in website speed optimization tools and techniques
- Knowledge of security best practices for WordPress
- Experience with plugin troubleshooting and conflict resolution
- Familiar with website deployment processes (staging → live)
- Ability to write clear and structured technical reports
- Understanding of caching systems, CDN, and database optimization
