Somethingsamar is seeking a dedicated Social Media Videographer/Editor with a strong background in video filming and editing to support an equestrian influencer. This role requires daily availability, six days a week, to capture high-quality footage around Lahore. The selected candidate will be responsible for producing visually compelling video content tailored for various social media platforms. A key aspect of this role includes integrating voiceovers provided by the influencer into the edited videos, ensuring polished and engaging final products. The ideal candidate has at least two to four years of experience in video editing and content creation, demonstrating expertise in filming and delivering within tight timelines. This position does not involve managing a team but requires strong self-organization and the ability to work independently under strict daily deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Film daily video content around Lahore to capture authentic and dynamic footage aligned with the influencer’s brand and aesthetic.
- Perform high-quality video editing for social media platforms, ensuring all content is engaging, polished, and aligns with the brand’s voice and style guidelines.
- Integrate recorded voiceovers sent by the influencer seamlessly into video edits, synchronizing audio with visuals to enhance storytelling.
- Manage and organize raw footage and project files efficiently to maintain a streamlined editing workflow.
- Ensure all content is fully edited, reviewed, and submitted within the same day as shooting, meeting tight deadlines consistently.
- Adapt video content creatively to suit different social media channels, optimizing for platform-specific formats and audience preferences.
- Collaborate closely with the influencer to understand content goals and receive feedback for continuous improvement on video projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to video shooting or editing equipment promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current social media trends, video editing software, and filming techniques to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Work independently without team management responsibilities, demonstrating strong time management and self-motivation to meet daily production demands.
