Role Overview:

This contract role requires a Go Developer to build and optimize microservices for a global platform serving AI and technology professionals. The position involves designing scalable backend systems that support real-time data processing and integration with external APIs. This work directly impacts the performance and reliability of a platform used by thousands of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Go microservices using best practices in concurrency, testing, and deployment.

• Write clean, idiomatic Go code and contribute to architectural decisions for backend systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party APIs and ensure seamless data flow.

• Optimize system performance by profiling, benchmarking, and refactoring existing codebases.

• Document technical specifications, APIs, and deployment processes for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience writing production-grade Go code in a collaborative environment.

• Proficiency in Go (Golang) and familiarity with the Go ecosystem, including tooling like Go Modules and Delve.

• Experience with RESTful API design, HTTP servers, and JSON serialization in Go applications.

• Knowledge of database systems, including SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra).

• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
