Location: Rawat Industrial Area, Rawalpindi
Tiyaaz Industries is seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering and possess strong practical experience in production planning, machine operations, troubleshooting, and team management. This is a highly operational role that requires a strong presence on the production floor to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of production targets.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules, optimizing machine utilization, monitoring product quality, reducing downtime, and ensuring smooth coordination between production, maintenance, stores, and management teams. Experience with injection molding machines, assembly machines, molds, dies, and related manufacturing processes is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the stationery, plastic products, FMCG, or similar manufacturing industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day production operations and ensure production targets are achieved efficiently.
- Develop and execute production plans based on demand forecasts and sales requirements.
- Manage and supervise production staff, machine operators, and shift teams.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot production, machine, mold, and process-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
- Work closely with stores and procurement teams to maintain production continuity.
- Monitor production costs, wastage, efficiencies, and overall profitability.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and operational data.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Handle workforce management matters including attendance, discipline, training, and performance monitoring.
- Support new product development, machine installations, and process improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering (Electrical and Chemical Engineering backgrounds will not be considered).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant production management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of dies, molds, injection molding processes, assembly machines, and production machinery.
- Proven experience in production planning, troubleshooting, process optimization, and factory operations.
- Understanding of production costing, efficiency analysis, and inventory coordination.
- Experience managing production teams and handling HR-related operational matters.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and data management skills.
- Ability to work on the production floor and lead operations hands-on.
- Experience in the stationery manufacturing industry will be considered a strong advantage.

- Optimize the utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials, and inventory to maximize production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate closely with stores and procurement teams to ensure seamless supply chain coordination and production continuity.
- Control production costs by monitoring wastage, efficiencies, and overall profitability metrics.
- Maintain accurate production records, generate reports, and analyze operational data for informed decision-making.
- Enforce adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies throughout the production process.
- Address workforce management functions, including attendance monitoring, discipline enforcement, training facilitation, and performance evaluations.
- Support initiatives in new product development, machinery installation, and continuous process optimization to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Uphold a hands-on leadership approach by being present on the production floor to guide and motivate the team effectively.
