You'll Contribute To Products Reshaping Education

• TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures in a TikTok-style learning format.
• TeachTales: Captures student interest through personalized, enchanting storytelling that improves understanding.
• TimeBack: Operates as a learning copilot integrated with current apps, offering proactive coaching to students.
• Athena: Employs AI-generated videos and assessments to produce measurable academic results.

Your role will be to steer the technical advancement of our products, making them scalable, maintainable, and resilient for the future. Working in close partnership with product teams, you will transform high-level needs into concrete technical design decisions and address intricate challenges while upholding rigorous quality standards. The decisions you make will define the product's trajectory and affect how thousands of students engage with learning.

What You Will Be Doing

• Feature Development: Architecting and building new features with emphasis on scalability, maintainability, and lasting product value.
• Requirement Engineering: Working alongside the product team to clarify requirements and guiding technical conversations to ensure features align with product objectives.
• Operations and Maintenance: Overseeing product stability, optimizing performance, and proactively detecting and addressing potential issues.
• Technical Design: Executing high-stakes technical decisions that directly influence user experience and product scalability.

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Jumping between short-lived projects or pursuing the latest trendy technologies.
• Handling internal IT systems or outsourced initiatives that lack tangible user impact.
• Spending time in unproductive meetings or wrestling with tedious infrastructure problems.

Basic Requirements

Senior Full-Stack Engineer key responsibilities

• At least 1 year of full-stack development experience, working on front and backend features.
• At least 2 years as the primary technical contributor for a SaaS product, driving strategic technical decisions.
• At least 4 years of experience working on actual SaaS products, not outsourcing or internal IT projects.
• Experience in using generative AI in your day-to-day development work.
