A Well Known School System seeks a dedicated School Monitoring Officer / Manager to ensure the highest standards of education quality and compliance within its institutions. This role focuses on evaluating and improving teaching effectiveness, curriculum implementation, and overall school performance through rigorous data analysis and quality assurance methods. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in teaching, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a thorough understanding of educational policies and assessment systems. Drawing on 5 to 7 years of teaching experience, the officer supports the implementation of monitoring and evaluation tools to help maintain a robust educational environment aligned with institutional goals. The role does not include direct team management but requires close collaboration with various stakeholders across the school system to conduct audits, prepare detailed reports, and recommend improvements based on performance monitoring results. The officer ensures adherence to compliance standards and promotes best educational practices by leveraging expertise in educational auditing techniques, policy implementation, and monitoring software. This position is crucial for driving continuous improvement and maintaining the integrity and reputation of the school system through effective evaluation and reporting mechanisms.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive school audits to assess compliance with educational policies, curriculum standards, and assessment procedures.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data from various monitoring and evaluation software to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for school improvement.
- Prepare clear and thorough reports detailing findings from audits and evaluations, including actionable recommendations.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance procedures to ensure alignment with institutional goals and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with school leaders and educators to communicate audit results, support policy implementation, and advise on best educational practices.
- Develop and maintain performance monitoring systems that effectively track educational outcomes, teacher performance, and student progress.
- Stay current with advancements in educational research, monitoring techniques, and compliance standards to continuously enhance evaluation processes.
- Assist in training and mentoring activities that build capacity within schools relating to monitoring, data analysis, and quality assurance methodologies.
- Ensure all monitoring activities adhere to ethical guidelines and promote transparency and accountability within the school system.
