Who We Are

Invictus Partners is a global Enterprise Software and Licensing Advisory firm, headquartered in Melbourne, Australia. Small team, serious expertise, no corporate fluff. Our specialists have worked on every side of the enterprise software table from vendor, implementor, service provider and client, which means our advice is genuinely independent.

Our SAP practice exists to do one thing: help clients extract maximum value from their SAP investments while eliminating commercial risk. We’ve created $1.2 billion in enterprise software savings globally. We’re aiming for $2 billion. The work is real, the impact is measurable, and the team is great to work with.

The Role

SAP licensing is genuinely complex territory, most organisations don’t have a clear picture of their compliance or cost position, and that’s expensive. You’ll be the expert who fixes that.

Based in either the UK or South Africa this remote role reports to the Practice Lead — SAP, who is based in Melbourne.  a Senior Licensing Analyst, you’ll analyse client entitlements against actual usage, identify risk, and design practical solutions. You’ll work across the full client lifecycle including proposals, strategy, measurement and reporting alongside SAP architects and senior advisers. Real responsibility, real variety, no two-year implementation marathons.

What You’ll Do

  • Review SAP contracts, entitlements, definitions of use, special clauses
  • Analyse measurement documents (USMM, SLAW, LMBI) to determine a client’s compliance position
  • Map business processes and translate SAP architecture into commercial insights
  • Work with the team to provide licence and contract advisory to clients as they look to embark on their SAP Cloud ERP Private journey
  • Build proposals, strategies, and client-facing reports and presentations
  • Contribute directly to client meetings and senior stakeholder conversations
  • Stay across the SAP roadmap and what it means for licensing
  • Help improve how we deliver — this is a practice that actually listens

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years in SAP implementations, system support, or licensing advisory
  • Hands-on experience with SAP licensing measurement: USMM, SLAW/2, LMBI
  • Functional or technical SAP knowledge (Basis, security, config, or dev, all useful)
  • Project or team leadership experience
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to turn large datasets into clear recommendations
  • Experience writing reports and presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Business process or management consulting background is a genuine plus

About You

  • Curious, you want to understand how SAP licensing works, not just run a process
  • Analytical, you care about getting it right and you check your own work
  • Clear communicator, you can explain complex licensing positions to people who didn’t ask for a lecture
  • Self-directed. remote-first means you manage your own time across time zones
  • Low ego, you lead when it’s yours to lead, support when it isn’t

Why Invictus

We’re not a fit for everyone. We’re a small firm and we operate like one — which means no politics, no hiding behind a hierarchy, and no being stuck on the same project for 18 months.

What you do get:

  • Genuine flexibility, remote, output-focused
  • Breadth, diverse clients, diverse problems, never bored
  • Senior exposure from day one, you’ll work directly with practice leads and client decision-makers
  • A voice, we’re small enough that good ideas actually land
  • A team that’s good at what it does and doesn’t take itself too seriously

We swear so our clients don’t have to. Our job is to take the BS out of enterprise software contracts and we’re very good at it.
