Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Review plumbing construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform accurate material and labor takeoffs from project plans
- Prepare detailed plumbing estimates and proposals
- Work closely with the General Manager during the bidding process
- Complete and organize internal estimating forms and proposal templates
- Ensure bids are fully prepared and ready for final management review before submission
- Maintain and update bid tracking systems for incoming and outgoing proposals
- Adapt to company-specific estimating workflows and internal systems
- Coordinate with team members to ensure deadlines are met
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Plumbing Estimator
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and construction methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Excellent English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a structured workflow
Software Proficiency
Candidates should be proficient in:
- PlanSwift
- Bluebeam
- Other estimating and takeoff software/tools
