About the Role

Meezan Bank, Pakistan's premier Islamic bank, is looking for a visionary and experienced Head of IT Operations to join our Information Technology Group. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing critical IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless banking operations, and driving digital innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring the stability and high performance of core banking systems, ATM/POS networks, and mobile/internet banking platforms.
• Strategic Management: Manage payment gateways and lead the development of DevOps setups and microservices roadmaps.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure full alignment with regulatory and international standards, including SBP guidelines, PCI-DSS, SWIFT CSP, and ISO 27001.
• Leadership: Drive program development and lead high-performing technical teams to deliver secure and scalable banking solutions.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institute.
• Experience: 15+ years of relevant IT experience, with at least 5 years in senior IT operations roles specifically within the banking or financial services sector.
