Description:
Refine Success (Pvt. Ltd.), a Lahore-based financial services firm, is hiring an experienced Forex Trader to join its Islamabad operations. The successful candidate will execute currency trades, manage FX risk, and contribute to the firm’s trading strategy to support investment advisory and corporate finance services. You will work closely with the risk management, research, and technology teams to deliver disciplined, data-driven execution and improve trading outcomes for the firm’s proprietary and client-related positions.

Execute and manage FX trades: monitor market liquidity, place orders across spot, forwards, and basic derivatives, and ensure timely settlement and accurate trade capture.

Risk monitoring and mitigation: measure and control open positions, run stress tests and scenario analysis, and enforce pre-defined limits and hedging strategies.

Market analysis and strategy: use macroeconomic indicators, technical signals, and proprietary models to develop short- and medium-term trade ideas; produce actionable trade recommendations.

Reporting and compliance: prepare daily P&L and position reports, maintain audit-ready trade records, and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration and process improvement: liaise with research, operations, and IT to refine execution workflows, improve systems, and automate routine tasks.

Client support: support client queries on FX markets and product mechanics when required, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-up.
The role is based in Islamabad with hybrid flexibility. What we're looking for
- Proven FX trading experience with spot and forward execution; familiarity with basic FX derivatives preferred.
- Strong understanding of macroeconomic drivers, interest rate differentials, and currency correlations relevant to PKR and regional pairs.
- Proficiency with trading platforms, order management systems, and market data terminals; ability to capture trades accurately and manage bookings.
- Risk management skills: position limits, VaR concepts, stress testing, and hedging execution.
- Quantitative aptitude: ability to interpret time-series data, build simple models or indicators, and back-test ideas.
- Attention to operational detail: settlement processes, confirmations, reconciliations, and regulatory record-keeping.
- Clear written and verbal communication for concise trade notes, P&L commentary, and inter-departmental coordination.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-moving markets, make timely decisions, and follow strict compliance guidelines.
