Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager focusing on EV Chargers in the Pakistan region. The role involves identifying and building relationships with potential clients, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for EV charging solutions. Responsibilities include conducting market research, identifying trends, developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and representing the company at industry events. The Business Development Manager will also collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with market demands and ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities for EV charging solutions across the Pakistan region.

Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, real estate developers, fuel stations, fleet operators, hotels, malls, and commercial clients.

Strong understanding and hands-on experience with PPRA tendering procedures, bid documentation, and compliance requirements is mandatory.

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and emerging opportunities in the EV sector.

Develop and present customized proposals, technical presentations, and commercial offers to clients.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial agreements with clients and partners.

Collaborate closely with internal sales, marketing, technical, and operations teams to align business strategies with market demands.

Attend industry exhibitions, networking events, conferences, and client meetings to represent the company.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and business growth objectives.

Maintain accurate sales reports, pipeline tracking, and forecasting using CRM systems.

Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and after-sales relationship management.

Candidate Requirements:

6 - 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.

Senior-level experience preferred.

Strong experience in electrical item trading and dealings across Pakistan is mandatory. Proven market exposure and supplier network within Pakistan is required.

Prior experience in EV charging, renewable energy, electrical equipment, solar, battery storage, or automotive industries preferred.

A strong network within the EV ecosystem in Pakistan is highly desirable.

Good understanding of EV charging infrastructure, AC/DC chargers, and market dynamics.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with government tenders and infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of EV policies, charging standards, and regulations in Pakistan.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
