At Atc Bedding, we are seeking a dedicated Accountant with at least five years of experience in the banking industry to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of five professionals and manage various accounting functions to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves preparing financial reports, handling accounts payable and receivable, managing general ledger activities, and supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts to assist in corporate financial planning. The successful candidate uses their expertise to ensure tax compliance and handle tax preparation processes using specialized software. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to reconcile accounts and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. Proficiency in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) module and other accounting systems is critical, as is a deep understanding of financial reporting and tax regulations in the banking sector. This position requires strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and the ability to maintain accurate and timely financial documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of five accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve department goals.
• Manage the preparation and analysis of accurate financial reports to assist in decision making and reflect the company’s financial status.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to maintain efficient cash flow management.
• Administer general ledger activities, including recording transactions and ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic financial planning and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations by preparing and reviewing tax returns and related documentation using tax filing software.
• Conduct reconciliation of accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial data.
• Utilize SAP Financial Accounting (FI) module and SAP ERP systems to optimize financial management operations.
• Implement and maintain accounting controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and financial integrity.
• Stay updated with changes in tax regulatory requirements and banking industry standards to maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during financial audits and reporting.
• Develop and improve accounting systems and processes to enhance department efficiency and accuracy.
