This position is responsible for generating leads, conducting outreach through cold calls and emails, and progressing conversations to secure substantial truckload-volume orders. Working remotely, the candidate will leverage various research tools and databases to find prospects and directly engage decision-makers such as Procurement Managers and Business Owners. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and demonstrates a solid understanding of commodity sales cycles, food ingredient markets, and logistics, particularly in managing large-volume truck deliveries. No team management is involved; however, the role demands strong autonomic work habits and the ability to navigate complex sales funnels independently. This opportunity offers flexible remote work from any location with stable internet access, empowering the representative to explore and develop the US regional industrial markets effectively.
Responsibilities

  • Research and identify medium-sized manufacturers in the beverage, confectionery, and biscuit sectors across the US using tools such as Google, LinkedIn, industry directories, and trade databases.
  • Conduct high-volume cold calling and email outreach to make initial contact, effectively overcome gatekeeper challenges, and reach key decision-makers including Procurement Managers and Business Owners.
  • Engage prospects in discovery conversations to assess their current sugar consumption levels, uncover pricing challenges, and understand specific delivery requirements.
  • Qualify leads thoroughly to ensure alignment with truckload purchasing potential and company offerings.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from initial contact to contract closure by building rapport, negotiating terms, and securing signed purchase orders for truckload quantities.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, prospect interactions, and pipeline status to optimize follow-up and ensure sales targets are met.
  • Continuously update market knowledge related to commodities, food ingredients, and logistics to tailor sales strategies effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams as necessary to fulfill orders and provide customer support post-sale.
  • Adapt sales approaches based on feedback and market trends to maximize account acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Remain self-motivated and disciplined to perform within a fully remote work environment, meeting or exceeding set performance KPIs.
