Role Overview
As a Recruitment Specialist at Mint Source, you'll work alongside the Lead Recruiter to own the end-to-end hiring process for client roles, from understanding requirements to delivering placed candidates. You'll be responsible for sourcing exceptional talent, conducting thorough assessments, and ensuring every candidate you present is a strong fit. You'll focus on the craft of recruitment: the detective work of sourcing, the psychology of interviewing, and the satisfaction of watching a great hire thrive. This role begins as a part-time position and will transition to full-time within the first three months based on performance and mutual fit. If you love building talent pipelines and finding people others miss, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for multiple client roles simultaneously, from intake to offer acceptance
- Understand role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and success criteria for each search
- Source top-tier talent using LinkedIn Recruiter Lite and other platforms, constantly researching fresh sourcing strategies and tools beyond basic keyword searches
- Maintain an organized, active talent pool in BambooHR, tracking candidate details, interactions, and fit
- Develop and nurture relationships with passive candidates for future opportunities
- Conduct structured screening interviews that assess both hard skills and cultural alignment
- Design and coordinate role-specific assessments (case studies, work samples, technical tests)
- Build detailed scorecards for each candidate, capturing strengths, concerns, and interview insights
- Collect and verify candidate references to ensure quality and fit
- Prepare candidates thoroughly for client interviews, setting them up for success
- Coordinate interview schedules across multiple time zones with efficiency and professionalism
- Gather and synthesize feedback from all stakeholders to drive hiring decisions forward
- Keep candidates engaged and informed throughout the process, even when they're not selected
- Provide recruitment updates to clients as needed on search progress and candidate pipeline
- Guide offer negotiations to close candidates while protecting client budgets
- Execute smooth handoffs to the People Associate for onboarding
- Document lessons learned and continuously refine recruitment processes
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally in agency, startup, or high-growth environments
- Strong sourcing experience across LinkedIn Recruiter Lite, Indeed, and niche job boards, with a proactive approach to testing new tools and strategies.
- Demonstrated success recruiting across diverse functions (marketing, sales, creative, operations, etc.)
- Experience recruiting for technical roles is a plus
- ATS proficiency, preferably BambooHR, for candidate tracking and pipeline management
- Strong communication skills: you can build rapport with candidates & navigate tough conversations with grace
- Highly organized and detail-oriented: nothing falls through the cracks on your watch
- Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously without compromising quality
- Self-starter mentality: you take ownership of your searches and don't need hand-holding to deliver results
- Experience recruiting for remote-first companies or distributed teams (nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace, Calendly
- Background in placing talent for agencies, ecommerce brands, or B2B services companies (nice-to-have)
