Description:

As Growth Manager at Hone.gg, you'll own both the demand and supply side of growth — driving user acquisition through paid and organic channels while also generating advertising revenue by selling ad placements directly to brands and agencies. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and genuinely loves gaming culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, and gaming-focused channels to drive scalable customer acquisition.
  • Track campaign performance, analyze ROI and continuously test audiences, creatives, and channels to improve efficiency and growth outcomes.
  • Build and grow engaged communities across Discord, X and gaming forums while developing organic strategies that strengthen retention.
  • Monitor community trends, player interests, and behavior insights to adapt engagement strategies and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with gaming influencers, streamers, creators, brands and relevant platforms to expand reach and strengthen market presence.
  • Explore sponsorships, ad partnerships and brand collaborations while preparing compelling pitch decks and proposals to generate revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to align features, campaigns, and user experience with growth objectives and long-term business goals.
  • Use player data and performance insights to recommend product improvements and ensure marketing efforts contribute to sustainable retention and growth.

Core Skills (Must-Have)

  • Proven experience managing ROI-focused campaigns across major ad platforms.
  • Ability to grow and engage audiences on gaming-centric platforms like Discord and X (Twitter).
  • Strong skills in influencer collaborations, sponsorships, and business partnerships.
  • Ability to connect marketing, product, and monetization efforts into scalable growth plans.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–4 years of experience in growth marketing, partnerships or business development
  • Strong understanding of digital performance marketing and campaign optimization
  • Experience working with gaming communities, creators, or esports ecosystems
  • Ability to analyze customer behavior, funnels, and engagement metrics
  • Experience in partnerships, sponsorships, or monetization strategies
  • Passion for gaming culture and understanding of player communities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
