• TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures within a TikTok-style learning platform.
• TeachTales: Delivers personalized, immersive storytelling experiences that enhance student comprehension.
• TimeBack: Functions as a learning copilot, integrating seamlessly with existing applications to provide proactive student coaching.
• Athena: Produces AI-generated videos and assessments to achieve measurable improvements in academic performance.

This position centers on creating tangible impact through functional software. You will leverage AI tooling and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack systems addressing real challenges—not merely completing tasks. Your responsibility is to deliver quickly while maintaining standards, selecting the simplest viable solution that harmonizes immediate progress with sustained maintainability.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and Deploy Full-Stack Features: Own user stories from concept through delivery; clarify requirements, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, conduct comprehensive testing, and release to production
• Identify and Resolve Bugs: Perform root cause analysis on issues, address underlying problems rather than surface symptoms, and prevent regressions through strategic testing
• Elevate Code Standards: Evaluate designs and pull requests to ensure they are clear, simple, and correct, preventing technical debt from entering the codebase

• Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems as ends in themselves
• Executing specifications without grasping the underlying problem
• Spending excessive time in meetings debating roadmaps and priorities or coordinating with others
• Merely delivering features; your responsibility extends to solving genuine user problems

Full Stack Developer Key Responsibilities

• Applying AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, ships rapidly, and remains maintainable over time

Basic Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production-level code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
• Proven ownership: Track record of owning entire modules, product features, or teams—not just executing isolated tasks
• Self-sufficient execution: Capacity to unblock yourself, manage your own workflow, and navigate forward in ambiguous contexts
• Hands-on experience using generative A.I. tools as part of your daily development workflow

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
