CCTV Technician-(Onsite)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced CCTV Technician responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV surveillance systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with IP cameras, DVRs, NVRs, structured cabling, and basic networking concepts.

The technician will install and maintain CCTV equipment, diagnose technical faults, coordinate with the IT department when necessary, and ensure surveillance systems operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure CCTV cameras and recording systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on CCTV systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Monitor CCTV system health and performance.
• Repair faulty cameras, DVRs, and NVRs.
• Prepare maintenance and repair reports.
• Coordinate with the IT team regarding networking issues.
• Ensure CCTV systems remain operational at all times.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of CCTV installation and maintenance experience.
• Experience with Dahua and Hikvision CCTV systems.
• Knowledge of IP Cameras, DVRs, and NVRs.
• Experience with Cat6 cable laying, termination, and testing.
• Basic networking knowledge:
  • IP Addressing
  • Routers
  • Switches
• Ability to diagnose and resolve CCTV faults.
• Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently.
