Job Overview: Al Habib Super Mall (Established 1991) is seeking an honest, reliable, and experienced Male Cashier to join our retail team. As the primary point of checkout for our customers, you will be responsible for handling transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate scanners, cash registers, and Point of Sale (POS) systems smoothly and accurately.
- Itemize and total purchases by recording prices, departments, and taxable/non-taxable items.
- Collect payments whether in cash, credit, or mobile payments, and issue accurate receipts and change.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that balances are correct.
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information during checkout.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar sales role is strictly required.
- Gender: This specific role is open to experienced male staff.
- Skills: * Strong basic math skills and high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash registers and POS systems.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle transactions efficiently, even during busy mall hours.
